Description
The nineteenth in a series of comics I'm writing. I've learned a lot of things from my year on dA: various memes, styles and terminologies.
This week's issue is about the flood of artwork sweeping through deviantART that is linked to pop culture. I used My Little Pony here for two reasons. One, it's probably the biggest fanbase on dA, and two I was forced to watch an episode myself. My reaction, however, was a little different; the narrator said something along the lines of "Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria" and I burst out laughing. I proceeded to laugh whenever the show said anything I considered childish or patronising - so as you can imagine, I was out of breath by the end of it.
Though I'll admit, if I did watch another one, my brain probably would snap - that's how you become a brony, right? Yeah, sounds scientific enough...

I had the same reaction to my little pony. I decided to watch it because there was such a huge fanbase and I couldn't stop laughing at it. Than after the first couple episodes (Brain twitch) the voice actors got better, the story ironed out. And I can say that its actually a decent show and I can see why people would like it.
